Art Critique

The painting is of a man laying on a bed covered in blood with a gun in his hand. The colors are dark and light in this painting. Its darker towards the bottom of the painting and lighter towards the top. Personally I dont really like this painting, its too dark and gloomy. And its got a dead guy on it. It has a lot of lines and textures. You can tell that this guy either got shot or shot himself right in the chests. I dont understand why someone would want to paint something like this unless it goes in with something they had experienced in life. Its just way to gloomy for me, I dont like it and would never spend money on something like this.

Melodrama

Melodrama is a form of drama that doesnt emphasis in cause and effect.But it shows plot and physical action of characteristics. Some characteristics of it are it usually has a happy ending.

Spring Break

Over spring break I went to Fort Walton Beach, Florida with my family and my cousins. We left Friday and then came back the next Saturday. It was a lot of fun all I did was layout on the beach and get in the ocean everyday from like ten in the morning until seven at night. The beach is my favorite place ever. I want to move there whenever I get out of college. The baseball team went to Fort Walton too, so at night I walked the beach with Brown,Brandon,Haden,Myles, and Stephan. It was really chilly outside at night time there but during the day it was hot and sunny. Then Saturday we wnt to Fudpuckers and then went back to the room to watch the UK game, if you walked outside the hotel onto our porch thingy you could hear people yelling about it, it was really funny. Sunday night we went to this restaurant called Mgquires Irish Pub its my absolute favorite place to eat at in Fort Walton. At Mgquires they have tons of one dollar bills hanging from the ceiling its really neat and you can write your name on them and hang them anywhere you want in the whole place so I add one every year, Last year me and Zach put one up with our name on it and this year me and Skye put our name on one. Monday at the beach I met these guys named Trevor, Tristan, and Jake. They were the beach service boys to the three hotels next to us. They were really cute and fun to hang with, I also hungout with them on Tuesday too.But also on tuesday I went to the Gulfarium and two dolphins named Zac and Princess kissed me it was so cute, I love dolphins. Wednesday I went shopping in Destin for like five hours then went back to Fort Walton to chill on the beach with friends. On Thursday I met a girl and her sister they were from Georgia. Their names were Jordan and Kimmy, me and my sister were really excited to meet them because we didnt really have any friends that were girls down where we were staying, plus it was nice because Jordan is my sisters age and Kimmy is my age. That day we walked down to the gelado (Italian Ice cream) shop, it was really neat they had tables and chairs that were shaped like ice cream cones. Later that afternoon on Thursday I drove down to Panama which was only an hour away. So I got to hangout with my friends Dylan,Cody, Blake, Skye,Brooke,and Allie they all go to Daviess County. That night we all went to club La Vela and we also went to Hammerhead Freds to eat. The next morning I drove back to Fort Walton and went on the beach all day and then had to pack up for Saturdays trip back to boring Owensboro. This was probably one of the best Spring breaks ive ever had. I hope it will be even better next year.

 I agree with the results because the definition of right brained is deffinitely the definition of the way i think. I am a more logical thinker. I like for things to be creative and planned out , really organized.

left brain means you think more logically and right brain means you think more on the creative side and concrete.

Mozarts Death

They say that Mozarts death was on December 5, 1791. They think he might have died from a strep throat infection. Also he could've had a high intermittent fever which most people say is the reason of death for Mozart. Theres another theory that Mozart was poisoned by the courts composer. He had pains and swelling in his legs and arms. They say that the day of death he fell into a coma and suffered convulsion.  More theories are that he starved himself to death, had graves disease, and a disease of the kidneys. Noone really knows his cause of death forsure. Mozart died around one o clock. He was 35 years old.

Modern Era of Art

The modern era happened towards the end of the 19th century, when romanticism reached its limit of expression. More diverse and experimental music began to appear. antolism was a twelve tone system that developed into serial music. It changed artists such as Manet who painted Olympia which was a painting of a Paris prostitute.

My thoughts while sketching was trying to figure out what i look like without a mirror. My final product i thought cam out pretty good i was happy with it. even though my head was kind of big.

The brightness of love.

This peice has a lot of bright colors that pop out at you.It has tons of different shapes and sizes. The shapes are really generic though. The lines of the figures are very dark and bold. It has a lot of hearts in it so it goes perfect with what today is.  I really like this peice because it has a lot of pink in it and pinks my favorite color. I think the artists was trying to make people think because you have to look kind of hard to see what the figures are in the painting. The colors consists of pink,blue,green,yellow,and red. The painting makes me feel happier because its so bright and out there.

National Geographic

Image 1: The elements that jump out at me are the colors the red umbrella stands out the most. And also the black clothing jumps out at me because the person is walking through white snow. I think the photo is very pretty i really like it a lot actually. its something i would put in my house probably. the title that i would give the photo would be The dark winter probably because the person has really dark features about it and the surroundings are light colored and white.

Image 2: The birds and piano stand out the most to me in this picture. the ocean really stands out too though because theres a random piano in the middle of it. i dont really like this photo i mean i think the piano is really pretty but its a little bit too much for me. i would call this picture music on water. because there is a piano and it plays music and its floating in the ocean.

Image 3: The thing that stands out the most to me is the beams of bright colors going done into the little town or village. the picture is really dark and hard to tell whats in it so you have to look really close at it. i would naem this one Beams of winter. i like this photo it shows a lot of different elements. it reminds me of the movie the santa clause

Image 4: I dont like this picture at all! its weird! it has a lot of bright colors though. i would call it well i dont even know what i would call this one.

Image 5: Well this photo the iguanaa stands out the most because it looks so much biggger than it really is because its on a mountain top. i dont really like this photo because it just seems pointless.

Image 7: I absolutely love this photo its bright and colorful and i love bright birds and flowers. i would call this photo the bright bird! the things that stand out the most are the colors like pink and yellow. the bird kind of blends in with the picture though.

Image 8: this photo is mysterious kind of because the snake blends in with the trees and leaves. this photo is really green. i dont like it because it seems really dull to me. but i do like snakes so its kind of cool.

Extended weekend

Well over the long break I was sick  wednesday and Thursday so I really didnt get to do anything that involved music,art,dance,or theatre. But on Saturday I went to the movies with a friend named Brandon and we saw No strings attached. It was really good! Then we listened to music in the car and I danced as always. Then on Sunday I played Just dance 2 with my little sister Abby and went to cheerzone for cheerleading .  At cheerzone I danced and tumbled for like two and a half hours. Oh yeah and Friday I went to JoCarols house with Taryn and Hadley. We watched letters to Juliet and the Hannah Montana movie. We also baked cookies. Then we made a rap video and of course Hadley was the rapper. It was really funny!

Prezi

Prezi is used for online presentations. Three tips are stay focused, stay on task, dont move things that other people put. its different from powerpoint because more than one person can work on it at a time and its online.

Think Fast

A time when I was under pressure was when Taryn, Hadley, and me went car painting. We painted Brandon Belchers car with paint and it was great. Brandon is like my bestfriend so of course he didnt care that I wrote on his car. I helped him clean the paint off. Brandons car was parked in front of Browns house and all the lights where on in the house. So we had to be extra sneeky so his parents wouldnt catch us. We couldnt stop laughing so I thought we would automatically be caught. Well the lights on the porch were off and all the sudden the lights came on and we saw someone looking out the window. And Hadley well Hadley shes a worry wart and she started flipping out as usual and so then she started being louder! We had to think fast, really fast. Taryns mom was waiting in the van down the street for us. So we all looked at each other and started running to the van because Browns mom came out of the house. How do I respond under pressure? Well I think I respond very well under pressure and when your in a situation like we were your brain starts running and then your feet take off with your brain. haha. I dont really respond to changing circumstances very fast though.

My favorite experience over Christmas break.

My favorite experience over the Christmas break was going to Taryn's Christmas party. I got to wear my tacky Chritmas sweater because that was the theme. My favorite sweater at the party had to be Abby's, she wore a big red shiny bow in her hair, it was quit funny. We all went Christmas caroling around the neighborhood. Then when we got back we played dirty santa. I got a princess snow globe but what I really wanted was the plunger and toilet paper  that Kelsey and Abby brought, it even had chocolate candy attached to it so it was a really great dirty santa gift , probably the best one ive ever seen. All the girls spent the night and we watched The Hills Have Eyes. Its a really stupid movie and everyone was freaking out! Its not even that scary. We played truth or dare at like three in the morning and I got dared to lick chocolate off of Madison's stomach it was so nasty but it was a dare so I had to take it. It was a long night but I had so much fun! But I woke up early because Taryns  darn dog came running in the room and got into all my stuff and she started licking me and ugh it got on my nerves!! But oh well then everyone woke up because Taryns mommy Kelly made us cinnamon rolls "Yummy"!
